The Vermont 100 Endurance Race is one of the original 100 mile runs in the USA and a part of the Grand Slam Series of Ultrarunning. Each year, 300 runners attempt to finish this hilly race over beautiful Vermont back roads and trails under the 30 hour cutoff point, and a well-trained few finish in under 24 hours. The race proceeds support Vermont Adaptive.

Announcing the VT100 Photo Contest!

Hello runners!

I hope the sore muscles are subsiding and the chafing/blisters are healing! Thanks to all who have filled out the post-race survey - there are a lot of great comments that will help us continue to improve next year's race. I wanted to reach out with a few bits of info!

First off, our generous sponsors (Salomon, Hoka, Farm to Feet, Julbo, and Dion Snowshoes) have sent me so much gear that we have a few extra items to give away!

So, they are helping sponsor a VT100 story/photo contest!

Submit your VT100 story, race report, photo that embodies the VT100, or whatever you have to be entered to win!

1. submit your story/photo to the race email at

2. submit your story/photo on the race Facebook page

3. forward a link to your race report to either location

We will accept entries until end of the day August 7th, and will send out prizes to a few of the best submissions as well as some random entrants.

Also - the race merchandise is online and available for purchase. If you need a little something to thank your family, crew, or pacer...or want something else to show off your amazing accomplishment, check out the online store here:

Thanks (and congrats) to everyone who participated, and we hope to see you again soon!
