Description

The Vermont 100 Endurance Race is one of the original 100 mile runs in the USA and a part of the Grand Slam Series of Ultrarunning. Each year, 300 runners attempt to finish this hilly race over beautiful Vermont back roads and trails under the 30 hour cutoff point, and a well-trained few finish in under 24 hours. The race proceeds support Vermont Adaptive.

Welcome to the 28th Annual Vermont 100 Endurance Race-A Message from Our Race Director #vt100 #vermont100 #ultrarun

Welcome to Vermont!
Whether you’re running, crewing, volunteering or just want to watch the action a little, we welcome you ALL!

The VT 100 is excited to be starting in lovely West Windsor, VT for it’s 28th year running. We want to thank all the local people and businesses who have made it possible for us to return to Silver Hill.

What ever your role, thank you all for joining us this weekend! Every penny raised by this event goes to Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports, a non-profit, volunteer based program which provides recreational and competitive athletic opportunities, instruction and equipment to people with disabilities.

A HUGE Thank You to Our 2016 Race Sponsors!!

The Vermont 100 Endurance Race Committee would like to THANK the following companies for their generous support of our race allowing us to DONATE more money to:
Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports:
Another welcome and 'thank you' from us goes out to the 300+ volunteers who make this event possible! They have been clearing and marking the trials for weeks now and will be out there manning the aid stations on Saturday and Sunday and then cleaning up for days after that!

Last but not least, thanks to the amazing Race Committee who has been meeting all year long to make this event happen. They put their hearts and souls into this event and you can really see it. They are all volunteers, most of them local to the area and very few of them ultra runners. They put endless hours into making this world class event really shine and then they rarely show their faces enough to get any recognition.

“Welcome to the Vermont 100, Have a Great Race!!! “
